IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Result 2026: Final Allotment & Cutoff Out

IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Result 2026: Final Allotment & Cutoff Out

The IBPS RRB Clerk Mains (Final) Result 2026 is officially out. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declared the result on March 15, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Phase II exam can now check their provisional allotment status and download their scorecards from the official website.

Candidates can check their result and scorecard through the official IBPS portal at ibps.in.

Final Selection Declared: IBPS RRB Office Assistant Phase XIV

The long wait for banking aspirants has finally ended as IBPS has concluded the recruitment cycle for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs XIV). This result marks the final selection stage for the post of Office Assistant.

Since there is no interview stage for the clerical cadre in RRBs, the marks secured in the Mains examination alone determine the final merit position. The provisional allotment is prepared on the basis of merit-cum-preference, mapped against the vacancies reported by participating RRBs across various states.

How to Check Your IBPS RRB Clerk Final Allotment 2026

To view your result and check the bank allotted to you, follow these steps on the IBPS portal:

  1. Visit the official website: www.ibps.in.

  2. Click on the “CRP RRBs” tab in the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Select “Common Recruitment Process - Regional Rural Banks Phase XIV”.

  4. Find and click the link titled “Result Status for Online Main Examination - CRP RRBs XIV Office Assistant”.

  5. Enter your Registration Number and Password or Date of Birth in DD-MM-YYYY format.

  6. Fill in the captcha or security code correctly.

  7. Submit the form to view whether you have been “Provisionally Allotted” or placed on the “Reserve List”.

Understanding Your IBPS RRB Clerk Scorecard

The IBPS RRB Clerk scorecard is more than just a marksheet. It gives candidates a detailed view of their performance across all major sections of the Mains exam.

Scorecard Component Details
Reasoning 50 marks
Computer Knowledge 20 marks
General Awareness 40 marks
English/Hindi Language 40 marks
Numerical Ability 50 marks
Weighted Total Score Raw marks out of 200 converted into a weighted score out of 100 for final ranking
State-wise Cutoff Minimum marks required for final selection in the applied state

The Role of Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Even after making it to the merit list, the selection remains provisional until the candidate clears the Language Proficiency Test (LPT), wherever applicable.

Aspect Explanation
Who needs it? Candidates who have not studied the state's local language in Class 10 or Class 12
Purpose To ensure candidates can read, write, and speak the local language for rural banking service
Examples Marathi for Maharashtra, Kannada for Karnataka, and other state-specific languages
Failure in LPT May result in candidature cancellation or a temporary extension of 6 months to learn the language

IBPS RRB Clerk 2026 State-Wise Cut-Off Trends

The 2026 cut-off trend shows a slight increase due to tougher competition and better availability of preparation resources.

Category of States States Included Expected Cut-Off Range
High Cut-off States Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana 74–78 out of 100
Moderate Cut-off States Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat 68–73 out of 100
Low Cut-off States Telangana, Karnataka, North-Eastern States 62–67 out of 100

What Happens If You Are in the Reserve List?

If your result status shows “Reserve List”, it means you have qualified in the examination but could not be accommodated in the current round of vacancies.

Reserve List Validity: The reserve list is expected to remain active until March 31, 2027.

How it works: If selected candidates decline the offer or participating RRBs report additional vacancies later, IBPS may allot seats from this reserve pool.

Post-Result Checklist: Documents for Document Verification

Candidates who have been provisionally allotted should start preparing all necessary documents for the Document Verification (DV) process.

  • Printout of the IBPS RRB Clerk Application Form 2026

  • Proof of Date of Birth such as SSLC or 10th marksheet

  • Valid Photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID

  • Educational Certificates including degree certificate and marksheets of all semesters

  • Caste Certificate for NCL-OBC, SC/ST, or EWS candidates in the prescribed Central Government format

  • Experience Certificates, if applicable

Important Note: Candidates should download and save their result and scorecard immediately from the official website. It is advisable to keep both printed and digital copies ready for future admission, verification, and joining formalities.
