SSC CGL Admit Card 2026 Out: Tier-I Exam Starts Today, Check Hall Ticket & Exam Guidelines
The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Tier-I examination begins on 30 September 2026, marking the start of one of India's largest graduate-level government recruitment examinations.
The examination is being conducted in computer-based mode over an extended window through 30 October 2026. Candidates must follow the date and reporting instructions shown specifically on their own admission certificate rather than assuming that every candidate appears on the first day.
SSC releases admission certificates close to candidates' scheduled examination dates. Candidates appearing in the opening part of the examination window should therefore check the official candidate portal immediately and download their available admission certificate.
Latest SSC CGL Vacancies
SSC's latest tentative vacancy position, dated 24 September 2026, lists 10,731 vacancies across various Group B and Group C posts.
Important: The vacancy figure is tentative. Department-wise vacancies can be revised during the recruitment process, so candidates should not treat 10,731 as an immutable final vacancy total.
How to Download SSC CGL Admit Card 2026
- Visit the Staff Selection Commission Official Website.
- Log in through the candidate portal using the required credentials.
- Open the CGL 2026 examination or admission-certificate facility available for your scheduled examination date.
- Check your name, roll or registration details, exam date, shift, reporting time and centre address carefully.
- Download the admission certificate and keep a clear printed copy ready for the examination.
- Read the complete exam-day instructions printed on the certificate.
What Candidates Should Do Before Leaving for the Centre
Verify the examination centre location in advance and allow sufficient travel time. Carry the documents specified by SSC and do not depend solely on a screenshot of the admission certificate.
Candidates appearing on later dates should continue checking the SSC portal because admission certificates are made available according to the examination schedule.
Confirmed vs Pending Information
